Aside from luxurious bathtubs or hot tubs at hotels, I've never been able to take a bath where I could be totally submerged except for my head...at least not without having to crane my neck at an uncomfortable angle in order to do so. The inches of depth gained by the Better Bath Deep Water Bath suction cup TREMENDOUSLY improves my bath. Finally, I can relax in the tub submerged and warm everywhere, rather than having to keep flipping over, lol.
The only thing I was worried about before purchasing this item was how some reviewers said that the suction cups were too rigid and wouldn't stick to their tub. In my mind I envisioned a hard, inflexible piece of plastic, but I added it to my wish list anyway. When I received it as a gift, I was pleased to see (and feel) that the entire piece is made of very flexible, soft, rubbery material. I had absolutely no problem sticking it to my tub, and it worked like a dream. I'll use it for every relaxing bath I take in the future :)
Oh, and I'm surprised by the amount of people who complained that it wouldn't stick to fiberglass, or other non-smooth materials. Isn't that just sort've common sense? A suction cup relies on a smooth surface for a seamless seal. If you've got ridges or bumps, it's not going to be able to seal to it.

I've had this for about 2 months now. I posted pictures with notes to help explain more. When the overflow is on my garden tub has a dip in the siding of the tub and the suction still works perfectly how i'm not sure but it does some i'm not complaining. I didn't really realize it was like that till i went to put it on. I try to place the bottom of the product as high and close to the bottom of the overflow as possibly that way the product overflow hole is higher on the side allowing me to fill up a little more. (hey deeper is deeper). The next thing i thought was going to be an issue was when i put it on and began to turn on the water i realized the products overflow hole was directly under my spout. I watched it for a min and saw it wasn't even going in. Again how idk. But it didn't. So i filled up hopped in and keep the water going till it was almost to the top of the product. I turned off the water and splashed around to see if it would un suction and i listen to hear for draining to see if it has come lose. It didn't i've used it about 9 or 10 times now. Haven't had and issue at all. I'm not gentle with it when i take it off and still no problem. Even if i did break it it's already been worht twice as much. Seeing the lush and bath and body product that are in the water cost 3 times as much as this. It save my products from washing away! Love it!

So this is pretty much the best thing ever for a bath. We have a huge garden tub, but the stupid overflow drain means that it practically empties as soon as it gets filled up. It is insanely frustrating, especially as I am eight and a half months pregnant - taking a bath really helps with the back pain and everything that comes with the third trimester. I googled and found this product, and it is AWESOME. It works exactly as advertised, the tub stays full, rather than emptying to some sad amount of water that barely counts as a bath. Could not be more pleased!
